Beautiful All Original 1969 Suzuki T125 Stinger Barn Find
Here we have for sale a very rare and highly collectible 1969 Suzuki T125 Stinger 125cc twin cylinder, two stroke motorcycle. This is a very unique bike that was made for just a few years in the late 60’s early 70’s. It is one of the best looking bikes in my opinion. The shape of the gas tank, the engine design, and the upswept exhaust pipes, this bike is hard to beat in looks. It sounds awesome too! The twin cylinder two stroke is music to many motorcycle enthusiasts ears. This bike was bought at an estate sale were it had sat for many many years on the Oregon coast and then it was brought to Reno. The bike is all original, with its original battery and even tires. The bike is in good shape for its age. Being that it was stored near to coast, the chrome has some patina on it. I have polished and waxed the paint. I polished the chrome too. The paint is nice and shines well. The tank is in excellent condition with no dents or dings in it. The seat is in great shape! Both of the exhaust pipes are original and intact. The chrome has some patina on them and the silencers has some scrapes on the side of them. The handlebars and controls appear to be all original. The speedometer reads 190 miles. Pretty neat! The electrical all works in the bike besides the horn. Sometimes horns just need to be cleaned out when they have been sitting for so long without use. I said the bike has its original battery in it but I will be putting in a new battery. I can’t get the exact battery but one that will work ok. It’s smaller then the original. All of the original turn signals and lens are intact and in working condition. Same with the original headlight. The tires are original to the bike and are in pretty good shape. They have basically all of their tread. They have some very minor checking on them. That’s just from being 50 years old. The wheels are original and in good shape. The chrome and spokes have some patina on them. The front fender is original. It has a scrap on the leading edge of the fender. The rear fender is straight but too has some patina on it. I did replace the foot rubbers and grips to exact OEM replacements. But the original kick starter rubber and gear shift rubber are in excellent, not worn condition. The front forks are soft. These bikes were known for having short suspension. I would experiment with heavier fork oil. I rebuilt the original twin carburetor set up and tuned them to my elevation in Reno at 4500ft. Th bike kicks 1st or 2nd kick. And idles wonderfully. It sounds awesome with the twin exhausts. It’s oil injected so you don’t have to worry about mixing oil in the gas. The bike does that for you. Overall this is a great, old original 1969 Suzuki T125 Stinger that you do not see come up for sale ever. The bike is very stylish and looks amazing! It’s overall in good shape for its age. Its nice, but not perfect. I do not have a title for the bike. It is sold with a bill of sale. I can store the bike for up to a month so that shipping arrangements are made and the bike is picked up.
