2006 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Ohlins Marchesini Yoshimura Brembo GSXR

Description

Up for sale is my 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 motorcycle. The GSX-R EMPEROR Motorcycle.
First and foremost if you want a bike that has been fully built with top of the line components from top to bottom at a “no costs spared”, and featured in the cover of multiple sport motorcycle magazines then look no further; here is the EMPEROR.
The bike has the best of everything that was available at the time and was made as a homolog to the 2005 AMA World Championship Suzuki GSX-R 1000 that was ridden by Ben Spies and Mat Mladin. The brakes alone were well over 5K, with titanium braking pistons. The front brake calipers are the same that were used in World Superbike championship and AMA championship events during the time. I had all major components refreshed including having the front forks fully serviced with new seals and using Ohlins R&T suspension oil.
Condition:
I bought this bike more than 10 years ago and have made certain updates to the bike to get it up to “date”. When I bought the bike the bike was period correct and somewhat tired. I went ahead and put more up to date parts.

Marchesini forged aluminum wheels

The bike did come with Marchesini magnesium wheels, unfortunately I was a little bit worried about using these on the road and decided to switch to a set of Marchesini forged aluminum wheels which can handle road use a lot better than the magnesium set as they are prone to cracks that cannot be repaired.

I also had the bike fitted with brand new Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires (dual compound tire)

This is a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 motorcycle that had the “Frame recall” done through Suzuki for preventive purposes. As you might know some of the 2005 and 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 motorcycles were susceptible to a frame fatigue crack behind and below the steering neck near the triple clamps. Due to this Suzuki fitted all bikes that were not affected or damaged with a special brace that would reinforce the un-damaged frame.

I also had the fairings re-sprayed with new clear coat

Oil changes have been done every 6 months with full synthetic Royal Purple

I also had the front and rear brake systems drained and fresh Brembo synthetic brake fluid put back on
·
I also installed brand new revolution rotors (front and rear). There are very hard to find as the company went under since there were almost 1,200 for a full set and not a lot of people were able to buy them. I will also include the original brake rotors that came with the bike

I also had the front forks re-valved, with new oil seals re-placed and new Ohlins R&T oil

Even though the bike came with a Full Yoshimura Titanium/Carbon exhaust, I switched the exhaust canister for a modern Yoshimura Carbon Fiber Alpha exhaust slip-on that fitted perfectly and gave the bike a more modern look. I will also include the

Brand new Shorai Lithium battery and Shorai lithium charger

Scorrpio rLink SR-i1100 full GPS alarm / tracking system fully installed. Included with the system are the perimeter sensor and the battery backup module. This alarm system requires a monthly subscription (I thin its less than a month). The system is fully integrated with a wiring harness specific to the bike that does not cut or spline any cable; hence it can be easily removed and reversed. The system is integrated with your phone via an app and any detection will send you a notification in real time.

PowerStands. These are the best stands in the market. These allow you to lift the front a rear wheels and be able to work on the bike or remove any of the 2 wheels.
