2014 Suzuki DL1000A 2014 SUZUKI DL1000 V-STROM w/ ABS - EXCELLENT COND

Description

I purchased the motorcycle from a NH dealer in October 2017 w/ 825 miles.
I am the second owner.
All ownership and service records have been retained, including the warranty ECM & harness recall work done in October 2017 by a local Suzuki dealer.
The Certificate of Title from State of Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles is printed in my name.
Clear title - no lien holders.
I am selling the bike as I am no longer riding due to injuries.
I fell over on the bike practicing slow speed turns in June 2021.
The bike itself sustained no damage, not even cosmetic damage, but there was some minor
cosmetic
damage to add-ons (see photos):

Crash bar - 4"scratch, no structural damage, repainted scratched section.
·
Left-side handguard has minor scratches
·
Givi top case side trim scratched.
Cosmetic only.
The bike is in excellent condition and rides like a charm, as it always did.
The bike does not need any work or cleaning, and is trip-ready.
There have never been any mechanical or electrical issues with the bike.
The bike was used for rural rides and long-distance trips, 99.9% on paved roads.
The only time the bike was ridden off of a paved road was on an 8 mile stretch of hard-packed dirt/gravel road to Meat Cove in Nova Scotia, or into a campground.
On trips, the bike was always covered overnight at a campground or parked under a hotel canopy.
The bike has always been garaged.
Winter storage involved adding fuel stabilizer to a full tank of fresh gas, cleaning, spraying the bike with Scottoiler, trickle-charging the battery, and covering.
The original Operator's Manual and tool kit are included.
I will also provide instruction manuals for the GPS, auxiliary lights, luggage cases, and the brake light strobe.
I do my own routine PM according to the Service Manual (over and above in some instances), and have had the bike serviced by a local Suzuki dealer.
Some of the PM that I routinely do includes the following:

The bike is always kept clean, and has never been muddied-up on a ride.
I never used a pressure washer on the bike.
Aerospace wax & polish is used for all metals and plastics.

Scottoiler FC365 Anti-Corrosion/Bike Protector Spray used routinely during riding season and for winter storage, as well as ACF-50 Anti-Corrosion spray.
·
Chain clean & lube every 600 mi.
Last done by the local Suzuki dealer during scheduled maintenance 2/21, 8605 mi.
·
Chain slack - done by dealer after tire change, 2/21.
I routinely checked chain slack, and it needed adjustment only one time prior to 2/21.
·
Oil change incl filter & crush washer - last done by me 9/2020 at 7340 mi.
Filter replaced at each oil change, and oil always replaced with Amsoil 100% Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil SAE 10W-40.
·
Greased pivots & spring hooks- stands, foot levers, foot pegs.
At least 2x/yr by me.
·
Throttle cable adjustment -adjusted 2/21 by dealer.
Previously adjusted when needed (infrequent).
·
Chassis bolts & nuts - checked to ensure torqued to Service Manual specs at least2x/yr, as well as all other non-structural and accessory fasteners.
In February 2021, I had a local Suzuki dealer replace both tires with Michelin Anakee IIIs, and perform the recommended 11,000 mi. maintenance when the bike had 8,605 miles.
