I have been hoarding and nice old Antique and Vintage sterling silver flatware for the last 35 years, only saving what I thought was cool, unusual, or just pretty.  It's now time to start selling it all, so nicer pieces first.
I have had a lot of old sand cast Sterling pieces, over the years, but never a set of tongs, with this kind of silver weight.  They weigh 136.6 grams, and that's not a typo.  That's almost 4 & 1/2 troy ounces for a pair of tongs!  And they're not big enough for your barbeque.  lol.
It measures 6 & 1/2" in length.   It has beautiful details, and a lot of them!
There is no mono, and none was removed.
The hallmarks are easy to read, and the details are still plenty crisp and sharp, for a piece this old.
There is no damage, bends, or repair marks. This is ALL original.
I will always combine shipping on purchases of multiple items.
