The Fluke 289 True-RMS Industrial Logging Digital Multimeter with TrendCapture is the next generation high performance industrial logging multimeters, designed to solve complex problems in electronics, plant automation, power distribution, and electro-mechanical equipment. With the ability to log data and review it graphically on-screen, you can solve problems faster and help minimize downtime. Let the 289 be your watchdog for systems or processes, while you are busy solving other problems.
TrendCapture Technology
TrendCapture Technologyis a trend plot style graphical representation of a logged session recorded by the 289, which can be displayed right on the meter as soon as the recording session is complete.
Not only can you instantly view recorded results from a logging session (which could be up to 200 hours long), allowing for instant analysis of any unusual events without the need for a pc, but multiple recording sessions can be completed without a computer.
In addition to being able to view trend information right on your 289 screen, a cursor is available to highlight a specific event (including event details); you can also ZOOM in for a closer look at the data.
You can either save any recording session via the generic save button, or "auto" save to the next available empty memory. You can even give the session a specific, pre-selected name (+Name). Once saved, select "Trend" and the graphical trend plot display will be drawn on the screen for a quick visual analysis of the recording session. If there are multiple events displayed in the session, the ZOOM function can be utilized to look at the specific event of interest.
TrendCapture Technology takes logging multimeters to the next level. The power of immediately viewing results of any recording session gives you the ability to instantly analyze your results over time and spot anomalies. This capability improves efficiency, saves time and ultimately saves you and your clients money.
The Fluke i400 AC Current Clamp, 1A - 400A AC is designed to offer maximum utility in a very compact shape. This high-safety, single range current clamp is compatible with most digital multimeters, and any other current measurement device that has an ac milliamp range and accepts 4 mm (0.16 in) shrouded banana.
