This is a vintage HP Infrared Printer I am guessing for Vintage Calculators.
CONDITION >
This is new.  Note the box has a couple of tears at the side.
NOTES >
I tested this with the included roll of thermal paper (I disposed of the 35 year old batteries) and printed a test page which you can see in the photo printed perfectly (Hold the advance button, then turn on, then release the advance button to print the test page.)  As I do not have a compatible device I could not test the IR functionality, but I believe that should work fine.
