Description

This is an interesting lot of (300) earlier United States pre-cancels that includes some obvious varieties and multiples. A close inspection shows obvious variations and there are certainly other possibilities. There are also some obvious faulty items.
There are faults noted to include nibbed corners, straight edges a bend/crease or thin here or there, tiny tear, etc. There are also some fault free items.
This is simply a unresearched and unsorted lot. There are other perforation faults, straight edges as pictured. This lot is offered as found. We did not pull stamps out. We did not catalog anything. These have been in glassines for many, many years.
