    Description

Vintage Circa 1800 Large English Sterling Sugar Tongs w/ Bright Cut Design
    Measures 5 1/2" long
    Weighs 1.1 troy ounces
Features a beautiful bright cut design all the way to the tip.
Has full British hallmarks marks on the inside:
Lion, King, and three castles meaning Sterling, New Castle, and George III monarch- the duty mark for 1786-1821
C.D is the makers mark for Christopher Dinsdale (worked circa 1800)
This is an antique sterling silver sugar tongs made between 1786 and 1821.
Being a vintage piece, there are some imperfections. The curve has a slight split (not through- just a fine crack). I have taken a picture of this.
    Overall this piece looks nice.
Perfect for your next brunch or tea party!
