This listing is for a lovely Sterling Silver serving bowl made by the Whiting Mfg. Co., c. 1905. The bowl is decorated with an embossed scroll design around the rim with deep sides decorated with a fluted design. The center of the bowl is engraved with a fancy 3-letter monogram "E S B". Marked with the trademark stamp for the Whiting Mfg. Co. who began business in New York in 1840. Also marked "Sterling, 109" with the date code for 1905.
Measures 2" high and is 10 1/2" in diameter. W
eighs 365 grams.
This nice serving bowl is in very good to excellent Estate
condition with no major flaws and reflecting only minor signs of normal wear.
